Housing Market Improves in all 50 States

The number of U.S. housing markets showing improvement expanded for the sixth month in a row in February, according to the National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets Index. A total of 259 metropolitan areas in 50 states and the District of the Columbia have shown improvement from their respective troughs in housing permits, employment, and house prices for at least six consecutive months. A total of 20 new metros joined the list and three were dropped from it this month.
